Social Innovation: Smart Electric Generator (Energy Issues)

In this theme, the social innovation proposal is through the invention of smart electric generator. This innovation came out after observing the night market seller that use diesel or petrol powered generator to generate electricity to be use. Although this is the most common ways of generating electric and also the easier way, this way is actually will generating air pollution through smoke from the generator. This is why I think, this new way of generating and storing the electric is the most efficient way and produce the least pollution among other available option.

The way of generating electric through this smart electric generator is by combining both by using solar panel and also a batteries. This principle behind this systems is simple were a solar panel used to generate energy during the day and the electric energy produce from it will be stored in a batteries that later will be used when needed. The only time for the electric being used is during the night market open which normally once or twice a week. This make the usage of the electrical energy is quite minimal.

When the night market is open, the only things that we need to setup is by plugging in into the sockets of the batteries to use the electric and each of the seller can used it. The may only need to pay a very small amount of electric bill by using this services. This charges were only used for servicing and managing the systems.

This make this ways of generating and using electric energy more efficient and do not producing any pollutions at all. Moreover we can also utilize the energy produce by this system for other purposes rather than during the night market open which is can be used to illuminate the streets and other areas. This will helps reducing our dependence 100% on the electric energy generate by burning charcoal which is used in our national grid of electrical energy.
